Welcome to the website for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Suffolk, Virginia! We are a parish in the Diocese of Southern Virginia.
You are visiting the site of one of the most historic churches in Hampton Roads. Our parish was founded in 1642 and has had an uninterrupted ministry to the Suffolk community since that time. A traditional church, St. Paul’s is home to a fellowship of Christians who believe we are all ministers by virtue of our baptism and called individually and collectively to be representatives of Christ. We do this not just at church but in our daily lives. We are proud of the rich traditions that have brought us to who we are today, and are joyful at the opportunity to greet visitors, welcome seekers, and share God’s love with all who pass through our doors.
We gather each Sunday to celebrate the Holy Eucharist – to be restored in our relationship with God and each other. We share in the faith, hope and love that God continues to freely bestow upon us.
